Danny Yamashiro is a rare find in Hawaii - a man truly after God's heart who has devoted himself fully to the art of evangelistic preaching.  Having observed Danny throughout his preaching career and having seen the way God has used him at several of our Youth for Christ events, I am convinced that he operates with the authentic gift of evangelism.  Danny's passion, commitment to Truth and ability to persuasively convey the Gospel are evident when he preaches to young and old alike. Sometimes someone walks into your life that you know the Lord is going to use in a special way. Danny Yamashiro is one of those persons. Danny first walked into my life more than a decade ago, and I knew then what you'll know too if you get to know him: Danny is a man of God. He wasn't always walking with the Lord in His power and might, but the Lord used a terrible accident to make Danny a broken but powerful vessel for His Spirit. I've met few men who have a vision as large for the Lord's work as Danny has, and I've met even fewer men who had as humble a spirit. Danny loves people, the people of Hawaii most of all. This is his home and the community that he loves best. But the Lord has also given him a heart that is growing and expanding, sensing God's call to take the gospel to places far away from his home.
